The presenters addressed barriers and solutions to effective communication about treatment options, quality of life considerations and supportive care needs and introduced SpeakSooner®: A Patient’s Guide (Guide) to Difficult Conversations, a new tool that prompts patients to identify and communicate questions and concerns to healthcare providers.
